We'll have new photos and a new theme ready in the new year, but in the meantime, Amy and I are just trying to survive the crazy holiday season. ;)

Seems like we both associate velvet with red hues! :D I was going to bake a red velvet cake and take a photo of that, but I ended up baking something else, so that idea went out the window! Heh.

We chose different format (yours was film, mine digital) as well as differemt reflection mediums (yours was water, mine was glass), but we both had a human subject!

left: a really tasty fruit, packed within an oval cross-section that i ate regularly to aid in digestion.
right: My favourite fried chicken and chives dumplings! If you squint hard enough, they look -nearly- oval! (The plate IS oval though!)
