We'll have new photos and a new theme ready in the new year, but in the meantime, Amy and I are just trying to survive the crazy holiday season. ;)

It's been an interesting time, but we're nearly at the end of the alphabet theme! Just one more to go! We've got another theme cooked up though, so stay tuned!

It's interesting how we intepreted this theme so differently! Variety is the spice of life, especially in photography!

Seems like we both associate velvet with red hues! :D I was going to bake a red velvet cake and take a photo of that, but I ended up baking something else, so that idea went out the window! Heh.

Yours is one of calm and tranquility and muted tones, while mine screams of disarray, activity and bursts of colour! Best thing is, they're both taken with our Klasse!

We chose different format (yours was film, mine digital) as well as differemt reflection mediums (yours was water, mine was glass), but we both had a human subject!

Haha, this was an easy one for me, since when this theme came up, I knew there could only be one subject I needed to photograph! I love your necklace too - especially the crown pendant. <3

Seems like for today's theme, we both had food on our minds!
left: a really tasty fruit, packed within an oval cross-section that i ate regularly to aid in digestion.
right: My favourite fried chicken and chives dumplings! If you squint hard enough, they look -nearly- oval! (The plate IS oval though!)

I love this theme and the photos we each took! Yours more muted and peaceful, and mine more colourful and vibrant. And I especially love the fact that both photos were taken with our fabulous Fujifilm Klasse S and W! Yay! ^o^
